God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh with me.
Our lives are filled with events that make us unhappy, feeling all alone and maybe even betrayed by our God. There are times when we lose our "happy" emotions because we just don't understand our personal circumstances. At one point in my life, I just wanted to be with Him in Heaven because I didn't think He was by my side here on Earth anymore. I have now learned that God will command His angels to protect you wherever you go (Psalms 91:11). We find ourselves so miserable during our toughest trials that we lose sight of all of those happy times, all those times we spent laughing, all those moments of smiling and pure joy. We need to continue to trust the Lord through everything that He puts us through that He will stick by our sides and never leave us through our darkest times.
"God will carry you through the storm."
There's a lot of things in my life that make me laugh, but these are my favorites:
- My Mom
- My little sisters, Deana & Dana (They are FULL of hilarious comments!)
- My most embarrassing life events...that weren't so funny at the time
I've been watching ELLEN every day since I've been sick and unable to work. It's just my time of the day when I can laugh and just put everything else aside.
I believe that we all should be able to laugh,
but most importantly to be happy.
If you're not happy with where you are in your life, or the things you are having to endure, take a moment out of each day to just thank God for giving you all of the positive things that you DO have. Ask for clarity that your struggles will turn out to be something extremely positive and that they will help you into becoming more like Him. "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." (James 4:10)
It took me years to find peace within my life full of illnesses, but God is continuing to work through me. He has a plan for me and I will trust His Will that someday I will be living a life full of happiness that completely revolves around Him and his Word. Life isn't always beautiful...
but it's a beautiful ride.
"You don't understand now what I am doing,
but someday you will."
